"This course is designed to introduce participants to the concept of change and its importance in organisations, and the life cycle of change. The program teaches the skills a leader needs to be effective in times of turmoil. Participants discuss specific change initiatives in which they participate, understand barriers to effective change management, and then learn tools and skills to make the process smooth and highly effective.
The goal of change leadership and management is to support organisation members and stakeholders to adapt to new vision, mission, process and systems, as well as to effectively manage resistance to changes.
In this course, the focus is on developing your ability to assess the need for change. By identifying why your organisation or team needs change, you will be able to better answer questions such as: What should change and how should change be handled? You will explore the political and complex process of introducing change, which includes motivating others, dealing with resistance and the emotional elements of change. Participants in this course will learn different approaches that have proven effective in leading and managing transformational change in dynamic organisations.
Participants in the Leadership and Change Management for Organisational Transformation course will increase their ability and confidence to lead and control organisational change in a variety of situations.
